Village Board
The Village of Rochester is managed by an elected
non-partisan Board of seven members: one president and six
trustees. Meetings are held the 2nd Monday of every month.

In Wisconsin's Village form of government, officials
are elected "at large". Any qualified elector of the municipality
is able to run for any seat.
How to run for office.
To appear on the
April election
ballot, you must file three forms with the Clerk’s office by the
first Tuesday in January: 1)
“Nomination
Paper for Non-Partisan Office” (with at least 20 signatures from
Village electors); 2) a “Declaration
of Candidacy”; and 3) a
“Campaign
Registration Statement”.
Additional information can be found on

In odd years, the President and three trustees are up
for election. In even years, the other three trustees are up for
election. Terms are for two years.
