Pan -- place cursor on map, hold down the left mouse button and move in the desired direction or use the pan circle at the top left of map area. Click on the directions arrows or click on the hand symbol to return to last pan area.

Zoom -- To zoom in directly - double click the left mouse button over the area to zoom in too. To zoom out directly - double click on the right mouse button over the area to zoom put too. Zoom in -- move the zoom slider up (positive direction) - place cursor over the slider, hold down the left mouse button, and move the slider up. Zoom out -- move the zoom slider down (negative direction) - place cursor over the slider, hold down the left mouse button, and move the slider down.

You may change the map type (Street, Satellite, Hybrid and Terrain) by clicking on the type boxes at the top right of the map.

For the more adventurous -- move the zoom slider to the bottom (negative) of the slide. The map will change to a World map. Move the mouse cursor over the position desired in the World and double click the left mouse button. The more you double click the more you will zoom in to that place in the World.
