2012 ELECTIONS
SPRING PRIMARY:   FEBRUARY 21, 2012
SPRING ELECTION:   APRIL 3, 2012
PARTISAN PRIMARY:  AUGUST 14,2012
PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION:  NOVEMBER 6, 2012

FEBRUARY
6 First day for clerks to issue absentee ballots for Spring Primary in person in the clerk’s office.
16 Last day for electors to request absentee ballots by mail (except for indefinitely-confined electors and military electors) for Spring Primary.
17 Last day to register in person at the municipal clerk's office to vote at the Spring Primary;  Last day for electors to make application in person to the municipal clerk for absentee ballots to vote in the Spring Primary (except hospitalized electors and sequestered jurors).
21 SPRING PRIMARY - Polling location and hours
MARCH
19 First day for clerks to issue absentee ballots for Spring Election in person in the clerk’s office.
29 Last day for electors to request absentee ballots by mail (except for indefinitely-confined electors and military electors) for Spring Election.
30 Last day to register in person at the municipal clerk's office to vote at the Spring Primary;  Last day for electors to make application in person to the municipal clerk for absentee ballots to vote in the Spring Primary (except hospitalized electors and sequestered jurors).
APRIL
3 SPRING ELECTION/PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE VOTE for Court of Appeals Judge, Circuit Court Judge, County Nonpartisan Offices, Municipal Offices, School District Offices, and Referenda (if required).
