AUGUST 6, 2008 PLAN COMMISSION 7:00 p.m.
Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. with Mark Tamblyn, Chris Denman, Dean Stapleton and Roger Kieffer present. James Joseph and Dennis Crombie were absent.
Lee Greivell, Village Building Inspector and Sandi Swan, Deputy Clerk-Treasurer were also present.
Stapleton moved, 2nd by Kieffer to forego the reading of the July 2, 2008 meeting minutes. All were in favor. Motion carried.
Denman moved, 2nd by Kieffer to approve the July 2, 2008 minutes as written. All were in favor. Motion carried.
Extra-Territorial Plat Review; Land Division Creating Two Parcels from One
Location: S. Westwood Dr. – Town of Rochester; Owner: Richard Reesman; Tax Id#014-031914012000, 3 Acres
Swan explained that the parcel is in the Town of Rochester and the City of Burlington deferred the plat review to the Village for that fact. She also explained the parcel is located in Suburban Residential on the Land Use Plan 2020 for the Town and Village of Rochester. Suburban residential allows 1.5 to 4.99 acres per dwelling.
The Commissioners questioned why one of the parcels is less than 1.5 acres. Swan explained that the 1.5 to 4.99 is an average density. The average between the two lots is 1.54 acres.
Kieffer moved, 2nd by Stapleton to recommend approval to the Village Board. All were in favor. Motion carried.
Stapleton moved, 2nd by Kieffer to adjourn at 7:13 p.m. All were in favor. Motion carried.
